Jan Garkey
Jan Garkey has more than 20 years of personal finance experience in corporate, government, and not-for-profit positions. Currently she develops personal finance products at Credit Union National Association in Madison, Wis. Volunteer activities for AFCPE include reviewer for conference program proposals, exhibits chair, and awards committee chair. She has served on numerous committees and twice served on the board of directors for ACCI (president 2002-03), reviewed outstanding consumer education programs for NFCC, and chaired METCHAT Newsletter committee for New York SOCAP. She has a B.S. in Consumer Affairs from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and M.S. in Consumer Economics/Public Policy from the University of Maryland.
