August 25, 2021 – Today, the American Institute of Certified College Financial Consultants (AICCFC) and the Association for Financial Counseling and Planning Education® (AFCPE®) announced a partnership that will enable members of each organization to benefit from expanded educational opportunities to both enhance their skills and better serve their clients.
Founded in 2017, the AICCFC is the issuer of the Certified College Financial Consultant (CCFC) credential, the premiere college and student loan advising designation that can be obtained by advisors and financial professionals who meet education, experience, and continuing education requirements. The CCFC requires a strong foundation of knowledge and lists AFCPE’s Accredited Financial Counselor® (AFC®) certification as one of the few that meet this requirement.

Through this partnership, AFCPE Members are eligible for a discount on both the CCFC designation or education course. In turn, AICCFC Members have the opportunity to save on the AFC certification, any AFCPE Essentials course – which includes Money Management Essentials and Financial Inclusion Essentials, as well as AFCPE Professional Membership.
