What is the Strategic Impact Fund?

The AFCPE Strategic Impact Fund is a financial initiative designed to ensure the long-term impact and sustainability of the organization. It focuses on providing scholarships for certification, training, and symposium attendance; supporting research projects that foster collaboration between researchers and practitioners; and funding community-based initiatives that promote financial security in underserved communities.

How Does the Strategic Impact Fund Impact Lives?

In a typical year the Strategic Impact Fund supports:

  • $100,000 in scholarships to nonprofit organizations for certification and training to build capacity
  • 10 AFC scholarships to personal finance influencers
  • 100 AFC scholarships for people of color, thanks to a generous donation by NEFE
  • 100+ AFCPE Symposium scholarships
  • AFCPE Podcast episodes highlighting the value of the AFC® in serving communities and building capacity.

These funds will be used for

Scholarships for certification and training, students, nonprofit groups, symposium attendance

Setting research agenda and funding projects

Funding community-based initiatives that focus on solutions to promote financial security in underserved communities, using high standards of professionalism
